Make Your Voice Heard!

Fax Key Members of Congress and Tell Them To Allow a Vote on the Broadcaster Freedom Amendment
Congressman Mike Pence called to alert me that he and his fellow Congressman and free speech champion Greg Walden will try to have the Broadcaster Freedom Act – which will help protect talk radio from Obama’s FCC – added as an amendment to the Financial Services budget bill on Tuesday.

But Congressman Pence tells me that Speaker Pelosi won’t allow it – UNLESS WE DEMAND THAT SHE DO SO.

So we need you – our valued MRC Action team members – to call and fax your Representative today, all weekend and all day Monday, and demand that he or she tell Speaker Pelosi to allow a full, fair up or down vote on the Broadcaster Freedom Amendment.

The Media Research Center is preparing to take further steps to ensure our Free Speech Rights – and we need your help!

Tell Key Members of Congress You Want a Full, Fair Stand Alone-Vote on the Broadcaster Freedom Amendment

The MRC is encouraging EVERY MEMBER OF OUR MRC ACTION TEAM to fax their representative and key house members - demanding the Broadcaster Freedom Act be given a full, fair stand-alone vote on the bill that would prevent the FCC from reinstating the mis-named “Fairness” Doctrine. That’s 14 faxes - personalized by you and delivered to the leaders in Congress - who need to hear your voice!

Intensify Your Personal Impact—Fax the Blue Dog Democrats!

MRC Action Team members eager to make the greatest impact can fax not only the leadership of the House and Senate, but also the 51 Blue Dog Democrats - Democrats in conservative districts that need to know that the First Amendment and free speech must be protected, and that Speaker Pelosi's desire to censor talk radio is un-American and unacceptable. These Blue Dogs must hear from you – so that they will fight to allow a vote on the Broadcaster Freedom Act.

That’s more than 60 faxes - personalized by you and delivered to key members of Congress!

To maximize our impact, we are encouraging all MRC members to send faxes today, all weekend and all day Monday.

Thank you for this, and for all you do for free speech and the MRC.
