Last Year the so called “news” media ignored your and your fellow citizens’ demands to:

Stop the spending!
Stop the bailouts!
Don’t touch my health care!

And they would have continued to do so, except that Americans just like you went to townhalls and videotaped Congressman refusing to answer their constituents, telling them that they didn’t have time to read the bill, and telling them that Obamacare was not a takeover of the US healthcare system.

These videos were uploaded to sites like YouTube and EyeBlast.tv where millions of people saw them and the liberal media could no longer pretend that these events didn’t happen.

The left is getting desperate and now is not the time to allow Members of Congress to get away with any further lies or doublespeak.

Technology to take a video and put it on the internet has never been easier to use. And we believe that any member of the MRC Action team is capable of doing it.
If you don’t have a camera, relatively inexpensive ones are available and come with the software you need to upload that video. One model is available here, or your local electronics store will have many options.

Generations of Americans have never counted on others when their backs were against the wall. Don’t count on the liberal media to get Members of Congress on video explaining why they chose to ignore the will of the American people. Go to the townhalls, record your Member and put it online.

Any video received by the MRC will NOT be returned, that by providing video the ‘submitter’ is giving MRC the unlimited, unfettered right to use the video in any manner that it wants, and that the ‘submitter’ has full authority and ownership over the video in order to do so.

With the Federal government doing so much that our founding fathers never intended. Now would be a great opportunity to ask your representative if he or she would be willing to sign and demonstrate his or her commitment to a government that is bound by our Constitution.

Put Your Video Online!

The Media Research Center wants to put the video that you take online. We have a special section of our eyeblast.tv dedicated to hosting videos that you take at townhalls this August. Currently there are videos from last summer’s townhalls, where Congressmen were caught off-guard by constituents armed with video cameras, copies of the Health Care Bill and a lot of questions. In the upper right hand corner of this page is a button that says UPLOAD, click that and you’ll be provided with simple instructions to upload your video to our site.

We at the Media Research Center are committed to making sure citizens are able to do the job that the liberal media won’t do: report the facts about townhalls this summer.
